The
total mine clearance cost using dogs is about one quarter (or less) that of manual
demining methods.
With your financial support the Canadian Landmine Foundation is able to provide
dogs and training for fully qualified mine detector dog teams to non-commercial
agencies for their long-term use. As part of that support, The Canadian International
Demining Corps maintains a commitment and an ongoing responsibility to ensure
that the highest possible standards are maintained and that the dogs are well
cared for.
There are a number of ways we can all help!
