Day of 1,000 Lunches


DAY OF 1,000 LUNCHES


The Canadian Landmine Foundation (CLMF) is working against time to remove landmines before they damage another farmer, mother, child, or peacekeeper
and to aid those who have already been hurt.

This summer participate in Day of 1,000 Lunches



Invite your friends and neighbours to join you for lunch and, instead of them bringing something for the meal, invite them to contribute to bringing peace to some of the most disenfranchised people in the world.

 

It is amazing how quite small amounts from each person can multiply! We invite participation any time during the summer but particularly on August 9th in celebration of Peacekeepers Day. Join us!
Canada’s Peacekeepers know too well the civilian impact of landmines.

Humanitarian mine action is an act of peacemaking.

Removal of landmines is a necessary step in restoring peace.

This summer have a lunch, help us clear landmines, and salute our peacekeepers!
